A Plexiglass plaque is the material for signage that needs to look the part: office plaques, reception signs, partitions, display stands. This cast Plexiglas® gives crisp transparency at a fraction of the weight of glass. We print it in our workshop in the Gers, with white ink when your solid areas need to stay opaque.

Cast Plexiglas® is a clear plastic: it brings the clarity of a pane of glass without the weight. 3 mm is the thickness for office plaques and small indoor information panels, where transparency does all the work. 5 mm gives the stiffness you need as soon as a plaque goes beyond A3 or sits in a busy spot: it no longer rattles when the door slams. 10 mm is the thickness for reception signs and partitions: the edge becomes visible, and it is the edge that gives the sense of solidity you want on a reception wall.
From the 15 x 15 cm of an office number to the 45 x 65 of a reception plaque, the size grid has 76 entries. You can enter your own height and width freely, and the cut follows the outline of your logo or a pictogram if you ask for a contour cut.
On a clear substrate, CMYK alone lets the background show through: your red takes on the colour of the wall behind it. CMYK + white lays a white layer under the colour and makes the solid area opaque and legible anywhere: the usual choice for a professional plaque. Translucent CMYK does the opposite and lets light pass through, for backlighting; white only gives a frosted-look marking on a plaque that stays clear. Printing is single-sided or double-sided, the reverse of a thick plaque creating a sense of depth. For mounting, Ø 12 mm standoffs hold the plaque a few millimetres off the wall, and the wall becomes the background of your design; eyelets and cable ties suit temporary installations. On a clear substrate, matt lamination softens the window reflections that make a plaque unreadable head-on, and rounded corners are a must as soon as a plaque is within reach.
Supply CMYK at 300 DPI, 2 mm bleed, 4 mm margin — and above all, a named layer for the areas to be covered with white ink. Here, the white in the file is not a colour, it is a gap through which the wall shows: so state clearly what must stay transparent. A custom outline should be supplied as a vector path, separate from the artwork.
Cutting, drilling for standoffs and printing are all done in our workshop in the Gers, 100% Made In Occitanie. Choose standard, urgent or express turnaround depending on your move-in date.
