Foam PVC board is the all-purpose material for indoor signage and sheltered facades. Rigid and perfectly smooth, it can be drilled and cut without shattering and reproduces solid colours without grain. The 3 and 5 mm thicknesses carry the M1 rating, often required in premises open to the public. We print it in our Gers workshop.

Foam PVC is a rigid foam with a smooth skin: dense on the surface, lighter at the core. It can be drilled and screwed without shattering, and its flatness renders fine text without grain. 3 mm is the thickness for everyday signage that gets renewed: instructions, price lists, menus, evacuation plans — things you replace without a second thought. For a reception plaque that has to last, look instead at an aluminium or transparent material. 5 mm provides the rigidity needed to stand on its own: easel signs, boards on a stand, signage set away from the wall. 10 mm is reserved for large surfaces that must not ripple and for cut-out letters, giving them a visible thickness on the edge.
The 3 mm and 5 mm thicknesses carry the M1 rating, the most demanding French reaction-to-fire classification for a material of this type. If your premises are open to the public, your inspection body or safety committee will tell you which rating is expected for your fit-out elements: it is that requirement, specific to your establishment, that decides. M1 foam PVC lets you respond with a material whose rating is known, rather than a board you can say nothing about. We do not issue certificates of compliance for your installation: we supply the material and its rating.
Seventy-six sizes cover indoor signage, from the 20 x 30 of an instruction sign to the 50 x 50 of a reception board. A size outside the range? Enter height and width and the cut follows — straight or contour cut, logo, arrow or silhouette, which foam PVC reproduces cleanly. Printing is single or double-sided, with five ink options including photo-quality CMYK. For fixing, eyelets go at the four corners or along an entire side, and Ø 12 mm stand-offs let cables run behind a technical panel. Indoors, a laminate mainly protects against handling scratches; dry-wipe turns the board into a surface you can write on and wipe clean.
The smooth finish of PVC does not forgive low resolution: start from CMYK at 300 DPI, keep 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safety margin, and avoid images taken from the web. Solid colours come out without grain, which makes a badly exported gradient all the more obvious. For a cut-out outline, attach the vector path; failing that, describe the silhouette you want.
