Your professional nameplate printed to order, in the catalogue's small formats (there are 76, starting at 10 x 20 cm) or to the exact size you measured on site. Clear cast Plexiglas® 3 and 5 mm, white or brushed silver Alupanel® 3 mm, Forex® 5 mm: five materials, one requirement, that the text stays legible and clean for years.

The content of a professional nameplate is not something to improvise, and it is not for us to judge: check with your professional body what it must show, then send us the final text. We print it as it is, without rewording it or shortening a line to make it fit. If it does not fit, we tell you before production and adjust the format or the type size, never your wording. In practice, you do not discover the problem once the plate is up.
Most of the time, the size does not come from you: there is a plate holder frame to fill, a neighbouring plate to match, a gap between two letterboxes. Measure what is there before you order, and send us the measurement rather than a catalogue format. We produce in the 76 predefined formats, the smallest of which goes down to 10 x 20 cm, just as well as made to measure, with free height and width: if the frame to fill is 18 x 24, the plate comes out at 18 x 24 and slides into it, instead of floating in a near-enough standard size.
Your plate is not engraved: the text is printed in four-colour CMYK on the material, which allows a brand colour, a logo or several partners' names at no extra cost. On the other hand, the ink sits on the surface, and an entrance plate takes keys, bag straps and sponge wipes all day long. That is what gloss or matt lamination deals with: an anti-UV, anti-scratch film over the print, so that the text stops wearing away with rubbing and the colours do not fade in the light of the porch.
And if one line changes regularly (opening hours, a closing day, holiday dates), dry-wipe lamination gives you a strip you write on with a marker and wipe clean with a cloth. The rest of the plate stays as it is.
An entrance plate is read standing up and brushed every time someone goes past with a bag, a bunch of keys or a pushchair. A sharp corner at that height ends up catching someone or a sleeve. We always recommend rounded corners: they remove the risk without changing the look of the plate. Just tell us how you are fixing it (screws, adhesive, existing frame) and whether you want eyelets, in each corner or along one side only: the cut is straight or contour-cut as required.
The material comes last, once the constraints are known. Cast Plexiglas® 3 or 5 mm adds the depth of its edge, visible from an angle; white Alupanel® 3 mm gives a clean background and strong contrast, brushed silver a more understated tone; Forex® 5 mm remains the most affordable option for a practice that is just opening. And because a practice evolves, keep your file to hand: when a name is added or a line changes, the same order goes out again in the same format and on the same material, and the new plate takes the place of the old one without touching the fixings. Everything leaves our workshop in Manciet, in the Gers, where each plate is cut and then checked one by one before dispatch.
